Enterprise Content/Records Management and e-FOIA Solutions
The Enterprise Content Management (ECM)’s Methodology
Method for an Integrated Knowledge Environment (MIKE2) is the best practices methodology for implementing ECM. The 5 phases of MIKE2 include:
Phase 1 - Business Assessment and Strategy Definition Blueprint
Phase 2 - Technology Assessment and the Selection Blueprint
Phase 3 - Information Management Roadmap and Foundation Activities
Phase 4 - Design Incrementally
Phase 5 - Incremental Development, Testing, Deployment and Improvement
The focus of MIKE2 is on prioritization, governance, implementation cycles, feedback, successes and results, keeping a project on track.

Additional Areas of Expertise
Freedom of Information Act
FOIA has the essential goal of informing the public of the activities and operations of the government. Our organization responds to requests, maintains data on FOIA activity and fulfills reporting requirements. We also ensure that all documents or materials relevant to a particular FOIA request are either released or properly withheld pursuant the designated FOIA exemptions. In addition, we establish and maintain control procedures so that FOIA requests are addressed within the time limits established by the Act.
Privacy Act
We offer expert guidance in enhancing the review, analysis, and production of Privacy Threshold Analysis (PTA) and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) for established and emerging information technology systems. We aid in the review, analysis, coordination, and production of System of Records Notice. When there are privacy incidents, our team assists with the notification component by coordinating; managing and providing experienced staff for call center support groups.
Business Process Analysis
We examine in detail what an organization can accomplish, what its main function and activities are within the business line. Our approach involves business process description, process improvement, and process monitoring.
Forms
We build intelligent templates that merge with the enterprise data to deliver interactive forms or personalized documents in a wide variety of electronic or print formats.
Directives
We provide expert consulting on the process of coordinating, reviewing, editing and finalizing directives that include—but not limited to—new and outdated manuals, instructions, administrator’s policy statements, Federal Preparedness Circulars, temporary directive transmittals, and supplemental directives. We also facilitate in tracking incoming directives for review in an electronic system for the agency.
SharePoint Services
Our clients are investing in SharePoint solutions to address their requirements for collaboration, dashboards, portals, intranets, document sharing, web content management, and knowledge sharing. They are increasingly interested in leveraging SharePoint as an enterprise solution for document and records management. This is a strategic investment that can provide legal protections, demonstrate compliance with regulatory obligations and increase organizational efficiency by promoting the disposition of out of date documents that are not corporate records. SharePoint can organize the terabytes of documents knowledge workers store on share drives and establish a content-rich and organizationally sustainable intranet. Frequently, these intranets are enabled with auto classification tools and an information lifecycle, which enforces corporate policy and supports the corporate records management and eDiscovery systems. We have been fortunate to work with clients who are thought leaders in this area and have successfully defined, designed and implemented programs that use SharePoint solutions for tens of thousands of users around the globe.
An Enterprise SharePoint Program is as much about policy, human behavior, organizational dynamics, change management, and clearly defined goals and objectives as it is about technology. A successful enterprise SharePoint Program is one that has strategic goals, objectives and benefits but is achieved through incremental, measurable successes.
